Duncan Hodgkinson is a European actor and creator; born in Bordeaux, France and raised in Luxembourg, Lisbon and Palma de Mallorca. He moved to London in 2015 to study Acting at drama school.
Throughout his early life, Duncan found a love for skateboarding. He bought his first skateboard at the age of 10, and since then, he has not been able to remove it from his sight. Duncan is sponsored by Shine Skateshop in Palma de Mallorca.
Duncan was also pushed into music and Martial arts. He played piano for 9 years but cannot remember much now a days. But he has learnt to play the guitar. On his quiet days he improvises a tune or two and sings along. In terms of Martial Arts, he is considered a lethal weapon, so don’t mess with him.
Duncan attended East 15 and since graduating, in 2018, Duncan has gone on to develop himself by working with Jonathan Kay, Finding Your Fool in London 2018 as well as with master Jurij Alschitz, in 2019, for a 1-month intensive retreat named Quantum Pedagogy; with the intention of developing one’s own inner theatre, in Montecreto, Italy.
Moreover, in 2017, Duncan along side Eliah Arnstjerna, Heidi C. Nielsen & Daniela Atiencia, formed Fingers Crossed Theatre Company with a show written & devised by the company Central (Story) Line. Fingers Crossed premiered and toured the show in London during the summer of 2018, some of the venues include Theatre N16 & Camden People’s Theatre. They have recently toured Copenhagen for the 2019 CPH Stage Festival.
In 2019, Duncan has taken part in many short-films that have gone on to film festivals in India, Spain, England and South America. He was recently seen at the BFI Cinema in Southbank for the premiere of ¡Oh, Gloria Inmarcesible!, which is now touring in film festivals across the world.
